Welcome to Miley's Mom Dog Training Cranbrook

Do you have a furry, four legged companion that you love with all your heart but their behavior is making your life a chaotic three ring circus? Or do they just need a little extra help with manners, barking, anxiety, fear or frustrations? Do you think that your dog has what it takes to become a service or emotional support dog?

A dog training program needs to start with love, kindness, compassion, respect and trust. These qualities should be carried through your training program and for the rest of your relationship.

What Makes Miley's Mom Unique

I don't just teach you techniques to use to train your dog. With 7 years of working with clients to improve their quality of life, a diploma in psychology, and almost having my psychology degree complete, I offer an unique blend of techniques and insight into what may be causing some of your training blocks. This insight applies to both you and your dog. Along with this insight I will provide suggestions and strategies to help both of you better manage your training mindset. This is especially helpful for service dog training.

Welcome Maya to the Family!!

Miley and me would like to introduce you to our newest family member, Maya. She is approximately 10 years old and as you can see she has some physical health concerns including the mass on her face. We contacted a vet to have it removed but after a thorough physical exam and bloodwork, we discussed options and agreed that it was best not to remove it due to concerns with doing surgery. We worked with the vet to build a quality of life plan for her which is working great for her. She is loving life and is active for an older dog with her health conditions. She loves to play fetch and explore off leash. Since coming home with us she is learning to play, wag her tail, love and be loved, trust and feel safe. She is absolutely thriving and is inseparable from her new sister, Miley.  I have long been an advocate of adopting an older dog because they have lots of love and life to give.
